1. Eligibility
The contest is open to Coastal Pools’ customers and followers who are legal residents of Maryland and Delaware and are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, and affiliates of Coastal Pools, as well as their immediate families, are not eligible to participate.
2. How to Enter
Participants can enter the contest by submitting a photo of their Coastal Pools installation through one of the following methods:
- Facebook: Comment on the contest post or create a post tagging @CoastalPoolBuilders and using the hashtag #CoastalPoolsPhotoContest.
- Email: Send photo submissions via email to info@coastalpoolbuilders.net with “Photo Contest Submission” in the subject line.
- Instagram: Submit the photo via direct message to Coastal Pools’ official Instagram account.
Participants may submit only one photo entry.
3. Photo Requirements
Photos must be in high-resolution and must showcase a pool, spa, or outdoor living area designed or built by Coastal Pools. Photos should not contain any explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content.
4. Grant of Rights for Photo Submissions
By submitting a photo, participants grant Coastal Pools an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works of the photo for promotional purposes across all media platforms, including but not limited to social media, advertising, and Coastal Pools’ website. For photos featuring Ledge Lounger products, participants further grant Ledge Lounger the same irrevocable rights to use the images for their marketing and promotional efforts.
5. Prize
The winner will receive a $1,000 credit to use toward the purchase of luxury Ledge Lounger products. No cash alternative will be provided. The prize is non-transferable.
6. Contest Timeline
- Submission Period: Entries will be accepted from October 11, 2024, through October 31, 2024 (21 days).
- Selection of Finalists: Coastal Pools will select 5-10 finalists between November 1, 2024, and November 3, 2024 (3 days).
- Voting Period: Voting will take place from November 4, 2024, through November 10, 2024 (7 days).
- Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced between November 11, 2024, and November 15, 2024, on Coastal Pools’ official social media channels.
7. Winner Notification and Prize Redemption
The winner will be notified via direct message on the social media platform through which they entered, or via email if the submission was through email. If the winner does not respond within seven (2) days of notification, Coastal Pools reserves the right to select an alternate winner from the remaining finalists. The winner is responsible for responding and coordinating with Coastal Pools to redeem their prize.
8. Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Coastal Pools, Facebook, Instagram, and Ledge Lounger from any liability, claims, losses, or damages resulting from participation in the contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
9. Personal Data
By entering the contest, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data for the purposes of contest administration. Coastal Pools will not share personal data with any third parties except for the purpose of awarding the prize or as required by law.
10. Disqualification
Coastal Pools reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate, does not meet the entry requirements, or is suspected of fraudulent activity.
11. Changes to the Contest
Coastal Pools reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time for any reason, including but not limited to technical issues, fraud, or other circumstances beyond its control.
