Vincent Smith
President
As the President of Coastal Pools, Vince brings a wealth of
experience and a passion for service excellence to the team. Having first been
a customer of Coastal Pools, he is thrilled to now lead the brand known for its
commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. With a focus on fostering a
culture of empowered leadership, Vince aligns Coastal Pools’ core values with
strategies that fuel accelerated growth.
With 15 years of experience at the senior executive level in
the home services industry, Vince has held pivotal roles such as Director of
Sales and Operations and Regional General Manager. His expertise spans both
green fielding and acquisition integration, contributing to significant
organizational growth.
Vince is excited to bring his leadership skills and
dedication to excellence to the Coastal Pools family, guiding the company
toward a future of continued success and innovation.
Brad Hull
Vice President of Sales &
Business Development
Bradley “Brad” Hull is the Founder of Coastal Pools who currently leads as the Vice President of Sales & Business Development. With 20 years of pool industry experience, Brad has held positions in all aspects of pool design, construction, and service. He holds a CPO certification and a CBP certification from the PHTA. Brad’s goal is to create beautiful and functional pool designs and water features. He is proud to have helped create countless enjoyable and fully functional spaces for many homes all over the Delmarva peninsula. In his free time, Brad enjoys spending time and doing activities with his daughter, specifically bass fishing, and riding amusement park rides.
Vice President of Operations
Jason Shanks is the Vice President of Operations of Coastal Pools who oversees all construction operations across the company. He is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in operations management and public service. With a diverse background spanning from military service to public utilities, Jason brings a unique blend of leadership, discipline, and community engagement to Coastal Pools. Jason is also a dedicated father of three, enjoys spending time outdoors and fishing. He is looking forward to being an influential figure in the pool construction industry, consistently striving for excellence and innovation in operations management.
Controller
Michelle Callahan is the Controller of Coastal Pools and oversees all financial management, human resources, and information technology functions. She previously held finance positions with Qlarant, University of Maryland Medical System, and AmerisourceBergen Corporation with a focus on financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting, and forecasting. She has a BA in International Business from Immaculata University and an MBA in Finance from Temple University. Michelle is active in the Easton Volunteer Fire Department and is involved in the annual holiday show at the Avalon Theater in Easton.
Kayla Hillhouse
Director of Marketing
Kayla Hillhouse is the Director of Marketing for Coastal Pools, strategizing and overseeing all the marketing efforts. She brings over a decade of experience in the Home Services Industry, spanning Sales Support, Customer Service, and Marketing roles in both local companies and national enterprises. With a focus on elevating the customer centric business operations of the team, she enjoys building reputation though showcasing the stunning work of the design and construction teams, as well as the expert maintenance and repairs of the service department. Holding a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Mississippi, she finds joy in outdoor adventures with her husband and two sons.
Mark Thursby
Sales Manager
With over 23 years in the car industry, Mark Thursby brings extensive sales and team management experience to the Coastal Pools team. During his time managing a sales team, he focused on achieving internal goals with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, leading his team to rank #23 out of 3,300 dealerships nationwide. Before entering the car business, Mark spent several years in the golf industry, including roles as an assistant golf professional at Queenstown Golf Course and head professional at Hunters Oak Golf Club.
Raised on Maryland’s beautiful Eastern Shore, Mark is excited to bring his expertise to Coastal Pools as we continue to grow and serve the Maryland and Delaware communities. He enjoys playing golf and watching sports in his free time. Mark and his wonderful wife, Heather, have five children and one grandchild. Looking ahead, they plan to retire to Florida to soak up the sunshine and enjoy relaxation.

Chris Conley
Sales And Design Consultant
Chris comes we a diverse background in outdoor recreation sales coupled with years in the IT administration field. When combining these skills sales and design of pool was just a natural fit. If Chris is your designer rest assured, he has the knowledge and experience to get your project designed and estimated with accuracy.
John Arnold
Sales And Design Consultant
John Arnold joins Coastal Pools as our new Sales and Design Consultant. With a diverse background and a passion for creating stunning outdoor spaces, John brings a wealth of experience to our team. He started his own landscaping business at the age of 12, gaining almost a decade of project management, leadership, and customer service experience. His expertise grew further as a geodetic engineer and land surveyor, specializing in residential properties and topography. Additionally, his years in construction have provided invaluable insights that seamlessly complement his surveying work, greatly benefiting his role at Coastal Pools. John’s true sales journey began with Toyota in 2022, where he quickly advanced from selling cars to becoming the sole Finance Manager of the dealership. His fresh perspective, innovative ideas, and dedication to helping clients bring their vision to life make him an invaluable asset to Coastal Pools. John is here to elevate the design process and turn your dream pool into a reality.
Zachary Casto
Sales And Design Consultant
Zach brings over 20 years of expertise in designing and constructing stunning swimming pool environments and comprehensive outdoor living spaces to the Coastal Pools team. His diverse portfolio spans projects such as boulder waterfalls, lazy rivers, pool houses, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and more—including major retaining walls and sports courts. Zach’s passion lies in unlocking the full potential of every project, no matter the challenge.
Holding a degree in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University, Zach combines his formal education with hands-on experience to craft exceptional outdoor spaces, even on the most complex properties, like hillsides and waterfronts. His clients appreciate his talent for transforming their initial ideas into dream-worthy living spaces.
When he’s not designing, Zach enjoys spending time with his wife and son, exploring the outdoors, or cheering at the hockey rink. He also has a passion for golfing and cycling.
Brennan Anders
Sales And Design Consultant
Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, Brennan developed a strong work ethic early on while working in his family’s farming business. At 15, he moved to South Dakota to pursue his dream of playing college hockey, a path that instilled both resilience and a commitment to teamwork. After graduation, he gained diverse experience in construction as an engineer for a commercial builder and as an intern at a major steel fabrication company, solidifying his technical skills and attention to detail.
As a Sales and Design Consultant at Coastal Pools, he combines his construction background with his passion for crafting beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. Known for his meticulous approach, he works closely with clients to understand their visions, ensuring each project not only meets but exceeds expectations. From the initial estimate to the final design, he’s dedicated to delivering results on time and with an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, hunting on his family’s farm, and surfing the local waters. His deep roots on the Eastern Shore and passion for outdoor living make him an invaluable part of the Coastal Pools team, committed to bringing exceptional pool environments to life for each client.
Kevin Stewart
Sales and Design Consultant
You could say project management is in Kevin’s DNA. With his experience spanning the home renovation scene, to custom stone installations, and ultimately swimming pool construction he has what it takes to keep your project ticking. Look for Kevin to be on your job with a comforting frequency making sure everything is being executed just right!
Field Superintendent
Jimmy also leads our field crews and sub-contractors on our jobs. He has been in the pool business a long time and has done everything from service, to renovations and new pool construction. One thing is for certain if Jimmy is on the job a keen attention to detail is being paid to your project. Jimmy has an eye for how things should be and he doesn’t accept anything less than perfection. Jimmy is also an exceptional problem solver and refuses to be stumped by anything.
Lee Petty
Project Manager
Lee Petty is a cornerstone of Coastal Pools with his long-standing tenure and wealth of experience. Before pools, Lee honed his skills as a journeyman plumber and worked in disaster recovery, making him adept at handling any challenges your backyard might present. His deep understanding of pool construction and maintenance, coupled with his commitment to quality, ensures that every project he touches is nothing short of excellence. Lee’s dedication and expertise make him an invaluable asset to our team and a trusted partner for our clients.
Chris Gayhardt
Project Manager
Chris Gayhardt is the newest addition to the Coastal Pools team as one of our Project Managers. With a strong background in project management and a commitment to precision, Chris ensures that every project runs smoothly from start to finish. His hands-on approach and meticulous attention to detail mean you can trust Chris to deliver exceptional results, every time.
Keith Bulcher
Project Manager
Keith Blucher is an experienced Pool Construction Project Manager at Coastal Pools, with nearly three years in pool construction and a strong background in pool operations and maintenance. His career in the pool industry began over a decade ago, progressing from lifeguard to pool manager and area supervisor. Certified as a Pool Operator since 2013, Keith’s expertise covers everything from pool safety to construction management.
At Coastal Pools, Keith focuses on delivering custom-built pools that align with each client’s vision, ensuring high-quality standards and seamless project execution. He thrives on the creativity of custom projects and values the relationships he builds with homeowners.
Outside of work, Keith is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hunting and fishing, drawing inspiration from his love of nature to create stunning outdoor spaces.
Taylor Jansen
Sales Coordinator
Taylor brings a decade of experience in recruiting and sales across industries such as IT, real estate, social work, and direct sales. Her background in talent acquisition has been centered on enhancing customer experiences, a focus she’s excited to bring to Coastal Pools’ clients.
Originally from Baltimore, Taylor has called the Eastern Shore home since 2020. Outside of work, she enjoys riding horses and spending time with her daughter and dog, whether at the barn or the park.
