Job Overview

A Sales/Design Consultant is responsible for selling and designing swimming pools to potential customers. This role requires a combination of excellent communication skills, product knowledge, proficiency in structure studios and the ability to understand customer needs. 

Customer Interaction:
  • Engage with potential customers in person, over the phone, or via email to understand their pool-related needs. 
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide detailed information about available pool options, features, and pricing. 
  • Address customer concerns and objections, demonstrating problem-solving skills. 
  • Meet with clients to understand their preferences, requirements, and budget constraints. 
  • Gather information on the site, including topography, existing structures, and utility considerations. 
Conceptualization and Design:
  • Develop creative and innovative pool design concepts that align with client preferences and site constraints. 
  • Utilize design software and tools to create detailed 2D and 3D renderings of proposed pool designs. 
  • Integrate landscaping and hardscaping elements to enhance the overall pool environment. 
  • Incorporate client feedback into design revisions as needed.
Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of pool designs into the overall project. 
  • Work closely with construction teams to address technical and logistical considerations during the design phase. 
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production and service, to ensure a seamless customer experience. 
  • Communicate customer expectations and specifications to relevant teams. 
Trends and Innovation:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design concepts. 
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of different types of pools, accessories, and maintenance products.

Sales Presentations:

Quoting and Proposal Generation:

Lead Management: 
  • Manage and prioritize leads effectively to maximize sales opportunities.

Networking:
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings to network and generate leads.

Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay informed about local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental considerations relevant to pool construction. 
  • Ensure that pool designs comply with all necessary regulations and obtain required permits. 
  • Gather all necessary documentation for permit applications. 
  • Complete and submit permit applications in a timely manner. 
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of application materials. 
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales/design in the pool industry preferred. 
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Knowledge of pool design, pool construction methods, equipment, and maintenance is preferred. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Valid driver’s license and any required certifications. 
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Structure Studios, and JobTread. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to pool construction.

 The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and delivering projects within the specified time, budget, and scope. They collaborate with superintendents, project coordinators and foreman to ensure that project objectives align with customer expectations. A career with purpose.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. 
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. 
  • Identify and allocate resources needed for project success. 

Design Interpretation

  • Interpret and work from pool design plans and specifications. 
  • Collaborate with customers, superintendents, and sales/design consultants to ensure accurate implementation of the pool design. 

Site Assessment

  • Evaluate and assess the proposed site for pool installation during Preconstruction. 
  • Consider factors such as soil conditions, drainage, elevation, and access to utilities. 
  • Utilize the company’s Preconstruction worksheet for each meeting. 

Material Selection

  • Select and order appropriate materials for pool construction on the day of excavation. 
  • Ensure that materials meet quality standards and are within the budgeted cost. 

 Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. 
  • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle. 

Budget and Cost Control

  • Manage project budgets in JobTread. 
  • Create all change orders after sales hand off in JobTread. 
  • Identify areas for cost savings and communicate with the superintendent. 

Quality Assurance

  • Establish and maintain company quality standards. 
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality standards are met. 
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on the construction progress. 
  • Address customer concerns or questions regarding the pool construction. 
  • Document all instances in JobTread through daily logs. 

Project Execution

  • Ensure that project tasks are completed on time and within budget. 
  • Update tasks in Job Tread as completed ensuring customers are tagged if applicable. 

Communication

  • Attend weekly production meetings prepared to discuss all assigned projects. 
  • Communicate effectively with production team, sales staff, and customers. 

Closure and Evaluation

  • Conduct project post-mortems to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Conduct a finalization to ensure the completion of the project. 
  • Offer the customer pool maintenance services. 
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role within the Pool Industry. 
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. 
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies. 
  • Valid driver’s license. 
  • Proficient in interpreting construction plans and blueprints. 
  • Knowledge of pool construction materials, equipment, and techniques. 
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance.

Customer Service Representative (CSR)

We are on the search for a highly capable Customer Service Representative to join our team in Grasonville, Maryland. In this role, you will be vital in handling customer support, sales, and showroom duties. This role will require you to interact with customers in our showroom and manage customer inquiries in a call center environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering inbound calls and responding to customer inquiries
  • Manage order entries and schedule appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions
  • Utilize web-based tools such as JobTread, Google Earth, Sales CRM and Microsoft applications for data entry and customer communication
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge to provide efficient and accurate customer support
  • Handle customer correspondence via email, phone, and JobTread professionally and promptly
  • Work within a call center environment, efficiently managing a multi-line phone system
  • Foster in-person communication when necessary, providing excellent service to all customers
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of sales and design to better assist customers

Requirements:

Marketing Coordinator

We’re looking for a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to help bring the Coastal Pools brand to life in our local markets. In this hands-on, highly collaborative role, you’ll manage on-the-ground marketing efforts—from event coordination and content capture to social media and performance tracking. You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing, local team leaders, and external partners to ensure our marketing efforts support both our luxury brand positioning and business growth goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute local events, sponsorships, and open houses—including logistics, setup, on-site coverage, and maintaining a strong brand presence.
  • Capture engaging, high-quality photo and video content at job sites, events, and team activities for use in digital and social campaigns.
  • Work with our Director of Marketing and professional videographer/photographer to plan and schedule project shoots that showcase our most beautiful and high-end builds.
  • Self-capture supplemental content in the field (smartphone and light editing), contributing to a growing library of assets.
  • Manage, schedule, and post consistent, on-brand organic content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Respond to online reviews, social media messages, and web chats in coordination with the customer service team—ensuring timely, professional communication.
  • Track and analyze key performance data (campaign metrics, lead sources, engagement, etc.) and share actionable insights with the Director of Marketing.
  • Assist in the execution of direct mail, digital ad placements, sponsorships, and local media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external vendors to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor and score recorded calls to evaluate lead quality and marketing attribution.
  • Manage local marketing collateral—order, track, and maintain branded materials such as business cards, yard signs, and brochures.
  • Contribute fresh, creative ideas and help test new campaigns and tactics to drive growth and engagement.
Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Proficiency with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, and CRM platforms (such as HubSpot or Salesforce)
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with best practices for digital content creation and social media marketing
  • Comfortable managing event logistics and representing the brand in-person
  • Working knowledge of SEO, online review platforms, and/or paid advertising strategies (a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and reporting) and Word (templates and formatting)
  • Interest or experience in the luxury or home services industry

  • Drone or aerial photography experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:
  • Regular maintenance and cleaning of residential or commercial swimming pools.
  • Performing routine inspections, balancing chemicals, vacuuming, brushing, and skimming pools to ensure they are clean, safe, and properly functioning.
  • Additionally, you will be tasked with diagnosing and addressing any issues related to pool equipment and systems.
Qualifications:

Candidates should possess general skills applicable to pool maintenance and repair. High school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license.  Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.   Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field preferred.

    • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies
    • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
